Ok, half of the reason I've posted so little since getting home from Worldcon is that I'm busy, the other half is just that i don't have anything interesting to say that doesn't require absurdist levels of four letter words.

so who has something they want to see me discuss, or do on a regular basis? I'm not saying i will, just that I'm curious.

I second this notion. I still remember the look on that one authors face when I answered his question of "What type of genre would supernatural romance be?" with "Horror?".

I would be interested to learn 1. what goes into making the decision on whether to offer representation, 2. how do you go about offering your authors' work to editors (how do you pick which editor the material goes to first, etc.), 3. the average length of time between offering representation and selling the material, and lastly, 4. when/how do you decide that the material isn't going to sell in its present form.
