For those of us using a cranky desktop, I found a neat little tool on Download.com that can help prevent those nasty crashes. It's called FreeRam XP Pro (it works for several versions of Windows) and it's free.

I've used FreeRam Pro for years, as it cheaper then memory when you only can afford FreeWare. Silly thing is I didn't d/l when my last HD died. I went from half a gig to 1 gig and only now find I sometimes need to clear my memory more often.

So I'm going to fix that now and load FreeRam XP Pro.
